Oh boy (or girl)!

Sophia is so excited to be getting promoted to Big Sister in February!!!

I had my first appointment today and we saw a beautiful heartbeat and baby looks perfect! I'm a little confused on the due date. My charting showed February 9th, the ultrasound showed February 7th, but my doctor set it at February 2nd. So somewhere around 7-8 weeks I guess.

I've had some nausea and lots of fatigue, but overall feeling pretty good. I had an easy pregnancy with Sophia, so hoping this one goes the same. So excited to go through this fun journey again and can't wait to see this sweet girl as a big sister!

{Review & Giveaway} Ashes Ashes Design

I'm so excited to have another giveaway for you from an amazing Etsy shop.

Ashes Ashes Design offers headbands, bibs, blankets, toddler scarves, crib sheets, hats, wall prints and felt garland. So many amazing products to choose from!

Here's an interview I had with shop owner, Becky Smith:
Tell me a little bit about yourself.

I'm Mommy to Asher (3) and Isla (21mths). I work part-time, do a bit of freelance graphic design on the side, spend the rest of my time with my babies, and squeeze in my creations in any free minute I can find! Somehow I got lucky enough to marry a super cute guitarist over seven years ago.

How did you get started with your Etsy shop and is there a story behind your shop name?

I have always loved to create! After having my second baby, I moved from full-time to part-time at work, and felt like I finally had a bit (very tiny bit) of time to actually pursue my dream of owning a shop. Etsy just seemed to be the perfect avenue to get started. The shop is named after my son, Asher. I have only been open for around six months and have felt so blessed that wonderful customers are actually interested in my items!

Do you have a favorite item you have created?

I love the knotted headbands and am a little obsessed with buying fabric to create more and more in different prints!

What inspires you?

My babies (and Pinterest of course! ;) Most of the time my items are created specifically for Asher and Isla, and then I offer them in the shop!

Becky was kind enough to send me these two beautiful headbands for my little lady.

I'm in love with these headbands! The material is nice and soft, plus stretchy enough that I know it won't hurt or get tight on her head. They're really great quality too, so I'm not too worried about Sophia (inevitably) pulling them off and stretching them around.

I love the color combo on the first one and I'm just in love with polka dots in general, so I'm thrilled with the second one as well. Within an hour of leaving the house we already got a compliment on how cute her headband was! We didn't have any knotted headbands yet, so I'm so happy to have these added to her collection!

Here are some of my favorite other items in her shop:

One lucky Cute Tot On The Block reader will receive their choice of
knotted headband set from Ashes Ashes Design!

Enjoy Essential

Have you heard of Enjoy Essential? If not, you need to check out their site because they have so many great items. And even better, they support small businesses! More about them:

"All of the items you will find on Enjoy Essential are made in the USA. We are 100% in support of small businesses, and many of the contributing artists and designers create their pieces in the comfort of their own home. That is what makes each item so special! We would rather bring you items that were inspired by someone's home than something we bought wholesale, which is why we are simply a storefront for each of these independent shops. We curate and create a cohesive collection and atmosphere and another opportunity for their work to be showcased. With each purchase, the item will come directly from that shop, without commission or markups. It's a wonderful way to connect and bring opportunities to support small businesses."

They have items for both you and your kiddo. It was hard for me to pick favorites, but I narrowed it down to these. You really need to check out their full list of items on their website, though!
